SYDNEY, Jan 16 AAP - The royal commission into the collapse of HIH Insurance couldexamine whether regulators should be liable for failing to protect the public from poorlymanaged companies, The Daily Telegraph says today.
Part of the commission's terms of reference includes examining organisations such asthe Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA) and recommending improvements, thepaper's editorial says.
