NSW:Baby might be at Olympic site: QC

A Supreme Court jury's been told water polo champion KELI LANE might have killed and
disposed of her newborn baby at Sydney's Homebush Olympic site.

Prosecutor MARK TEDESCHI QC said the site .. near Auburn Hospital where LANE gave birth
in September 1996 .. was surrounded at the time by vacant and deserted land .. which would
have given her a nearby opportunity for somewhere private to kill TEGAN and dispose of
the body.

Mr TEDESCHI earlier told the jury LANE kept her pregnancy hidden from her boyfriend
.. family and friends and didn't want the responsibility of a child.

The trial is continuing before Justice ANTHONY WHEALY.
